"Desk staff is professional, kind and hard working. The therapy itself is superior to any I’ve visited in the past. Dr knew right away what the root of the issue was after evaluating me. She knows what she is talking about. (Something uncommon in my past experiences with GPs and PTs , not exactly knowing how to get to the root and instead throwing a “bandaid” on the issue.) Here at this Physical therapy, they have a very different approach, addressing and targeting what actually needs to be done. "Dr Mali is absolutely fantastic!! She has great listening skills and is really focused on diagnosing the root cause. In the very first session, she also determined the root cause of an unrelated issue that I had been struggling with for more than 6 years even after visiting multiple specialists. She suggested various lifestyle tweaks which helped greatly with both issues. Rutu, the therapist assigned to me has magic hands!! At the start of every session, she asked about problem areas and worked on those during the session, instead of having me repeat the same exercises during every session, which was a refreshing change. "Over the previous decade I have had bad severe muscle spasm problem on my neck/upper/lower back because of my occupation. I have tried physios and other methods to try and sort it but they only gave slight pain relief but never got to the root off the problem. I'm totally worried as I took powerful pain killers in the past and Since one year I was taking pills almost for every 3 months as the problem got worse. I was lucky to finally find Dr.Dipti Mali. She is amazing and highly knowledgeable. Straight after the first session, my twitch got released which was stuck for more than 4 weeks and my disc was 90% pain free. I can’t express what a MIRACLE this feels for me. To be honest, she is the first to look at my situation as an individual one. "I came to Equipoise Physical Therapy because I finally decided that after 14 years since my left knee ACL replacement followed by 2 more surgeries on the same knee and having pain and discomfort in my hips was the time to finally do something about it. I’ve done physical therapy on and off through those years and I never came across anyone who had such a holistic approach and understanding of human body as well as human needs as a patient. After X-rays and MRIs I discovered that I was born with hip defect and other physiological changes because of not fully recovering from all those surgeries as well as overcompensating one side of my body. My whole alignment from hip down was off and no one before talk to me about this and work with me on therapy to build my movement and strength. I was told that I need a hip surgery to address my issues with hip. Dr Mali Dipty asked me if I’m willing to work with her on therapy and avoid surgery because she knew it is possible. It was ok, but they never worked to understand what the problem was or communicate with me about how to manage it going forward. That is the opposite of what I've found here.
